And now for the third child!!

Can't leave out our Terysa. So here's her update and adventure. Let's just say I never want to spend another three hours of my life in an ER. The picture tells all!!! We went last night around 7:10pm and didn't get home til about 10:35pm. Plus the fact that Taryn had an appointment at 4:30pm and didn't get home til about 6:10pm. So I am very, very tired.

Now back to Terysa, a few weeks ago she fell down the stairs at home and landed hard onto her right heel. Did the ice pack thing and didn't see any serious injury but it was sore for her. She was a trooper and went about her daily routine til she fell again the other night while Tim and I were at Taryn's Awards Night. Where you ask, the stairs.

So yesterday when I came home from work, she was seriously complaining. While at Taryn's appointment I made the call to our Pediatric MD-advice nurse suggested to go to the ER and get x-rays done. She was lucky, they didn't not see anything but would call during the day today if they needed to. Terysa had a rough night and I did too, waking up on and off with her. She didn't go to school today and I was extremely tired. I called in sick. I am so glad that I did, even though I was tired, I got lots of phone calls and made appointments done plus errands here and there.

Having children is an adventure!!!! Someone really should have made a manual about parenting before leaving the hospital with the newborn!!! It would have at least prepared me. LOL Rob and Erica, take note!!!

So if they didn't find anything, what's with the cast and the crutches?

It's a splint with ace bandages, so she can take it off. Thank goodness no cast-the bathing situation would have been a pain in my back side!!

She needs to keep her weight off of it. No gym class for the rest of the school year-a whole week at that!!!

The no-gym part doesn't sound so bad, but the rest of it--ick! How long does all the bandaging have to be on for?

I am getting her now to put more pressure and less use of the crutches. So I am hoping sometime over the weekend all will be good. Hoping to cancel the appointment for the bone doctor on the 20th of June.
